Michael
Lightowler
Michael started his career in
the City with Slaughter & May having qualified
in 1977. Michael has been a partner with Wortley
Byers LLP for over 20 years. Michael currently heads
the Corporate Commercial Department and advises
on a broad range of commercial issues including
takeovers, mergers, joint ventures, shareholders
and investment agreements, directors’
rights and duties and agency and distribution
agreements. Michael is also a Notary and is
a member of the Council of The Notaries Society.
Michael is a liveryman with the Worshipful Company
of Scriveners and has a keen interest in languages.
