Wortley Byers Law supports numerous local charities and community events, helping notable organisations to serve local worthy causes. We strive to engage across the whole spectrum including charities, schools and the Brentwood business community.
We regularly undertake 'Make a Will' schemes and participate in fellow professionals' charity events for worthy causes such as the Anthony Nolan Trust, Farleigh Hospice, Little Havens Hospice and the NSPCC.
Our employees our encouraged to give back by volunteering their time and talent. We regularly support local school initiatives to foster student talents such as the Shenfield School: 'Employer Engagement Day' and Brentwood County High School's 'Careers Fair'. We actively participate in fundraising efforts for our chosen 'Charity of the Year' and those of our fellow professionals. We also support Comic Relief and Children in Need. All of these allow us to make an impact in tangible ways.
Wortley Byers Law is one of the headline sponsors for the Essex Business Excellence Awards and judge for the 'Company of the Year' category. We are proud and privileged to be part of a process which recognises the significant contributions of a growing business community.
As main event sponsor for the annual Brentwood Business Showcase, we actively support this platform for showcasing the local business community. Our involvement further extends to presenting legal workshops and serving as a panelist in ‘the Best of Brentwood’ - an interactive Q&A forum to help address the issues of aspiring entrepreneurs and growing businesses in Essex.
As co-founders of the Essex Business Briefing, we provide forums for established businesses where delegates receive further support to help improve their business operations.
